Sam’s Spaces

Sam Reynolds has an amazing story. At the age of 27 she was diagnosed with breast cancer. 10 years on she has been diagnosed with, and battled the disease, on three separate occasions. Now a mum and mentor to others who have been recently diagnosed with the disease, she wanted a new website developed to help her share her story.

Sam’s original blog was on so we copied over all the existing content and set about re-designing the site. Sam wanted a feeling of space and openness, and wanted each page to have its own sense of identity. Sam also wanted the information to presented clearly and in a way that was easy to navigate.

Working together we refined Sam’s ideas into the new Sam’s Spaces website which was launched in April 2015.

I had no idea where to find a website designer so when I bravely put out a tweet and found Babs, I was thrilled. I had lucked out! We skyped straight away and she totally understood the sort of thing I wanted. Her quote was incredibly reasonable and she certainly knew her stuff, talking me through all the things she could do to make my website efficient, practical and attractive. I loved that she totally grasped the concept of what I wanted to do (being female certainly helped in my case!) and throughout the next few months, Babs was punctual in her responses and patient with all my questions and ideas! Her knowledge of the internet and world of IT is brilliant and she has taught me so much. I couldn’t bare to loose her so am happily paid up to keep her services on hand as we go forward. You couldn’t be in better hands.
